Mattel is honoring Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday with a Barbie Signature Doll that celebrates the iconic actress’ enduring legacy.

The star, who was born Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926, is being memorialized with a fittingly glamorous doll inspired by her performance of ā€œDiamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friendā€ in the 1953 film Gentleman Prefer Blondes. The doll is dressed in a pink gown with an oversize bow at the back and accessorized with dramatic gloves and sparkling diamond jewelry.

Barbie collaborated closely with The Estate of Marilyn Monroe LLC to bring the creation to life.
