When Beyoncé said "best revenge is your paper," she meant that. The Cowboy Carter singer is ending this year by adding another record to her long list of achievements — becoming the fifth musician to ever reach billionaire status.
On Monday, Forbes announced that December marked the magic month for the Grammy-winning artist, after a year that included a pivot to country music, which led to more commercial opportunities with Levi's, an estimated $50 million Christmas NFL halftime show — billed as Beyoncé Bowl — and the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025. The myriad of business ventures added a dramatic boost to her net worth, pushing it up from the $800 million the outlet reported two years earlier.The net worth milestone has Beyoncé joining an exclusive list that includes her husband, Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.

While Beyoncé has never been a slouch when it comes to her work ethic, the last year marked a major one for the singer. Forbes estimated that the Cowboy Carter tour grossed over $400 million in ticket sales and $50 million in merchandise, with an estimated $10 million the singer earned from her series of Levi's commercials.
The outlet emphasized that while Beyoncé's net worth was helpfully supplemented by her business empire — which includes her haircare brand, Cécred, launched in February 2024 and her whiskey line, SirDavis Whisky, named for her farmer and moonshiner great-grandfather Davis Hogue — most of the singer's personal wealth comes from her music.
"Across any category of the entertainment industry, there is practically no enterprise more lucrative than a musician who can sell out stadiums," the outlet noted, which can definitely be applied to Beyoncé.
No one knows how to put on a show like Beyoncé, whose 2023 Renaissance world tour brought in more than $579 million in revenue, making it one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, per Billboard, along with this year's Cowboy Carter tour.

The singer staged a multitude of big surprises for her 32 performances, which featured nearly three hours of her performing, a flying car, robotic arms pouring SirDavis, a golden mechanical bull, and star-studded guest appearances that included her children, her former Destiny’s Child bandmates, and her fellow billionaire husband.

And because Beyoncé controls the rights to her catalog and her media company Parkwood produced it all, she was able to secure higher profit margins, earning a massive income from her global tour.
Combining what she made touring with earnings from her music catalog and sponsorship deals this year, Forbes estimated the singer brought in $148 million in 2025 before taxes, making her the third-highest paid musician in the world.
It's a more-than-decent result for the singer, who previously revealed that Cowboy Carter was born out of an experience she had years ago when she did not "feel welcomed" in the country genre. And many proved her experience wasn't an anomaly when the album won accolade after accolade, including nabbing Beyoncé her long-overdue Album of the Year gramophone during the 2025 Grammy Awards.

But as any BeyHive member knows, this is far from the end for Beyoncé. The highly anticipated Act III of her album saga has yet to be announce, although fans are using every opportunity to speculate on how she will reinvent herself next, and when they can expect to empty out the vaults for her next world tour.
They have plenty of time to wonder; Beyoncé as been very vocal about prioritizing her family over making decisions based on money."I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family," she told GQ earlier this year. "No amount of money is worth my peace."
