Charli XCX honored her stylist, Chris Horan, at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards 2026 on October 15.

During her speech, she called out Addison Rae as a “prophet.”

She presented Horan with the Future of Fashion award.

It seems that, like the rest of the world, Charli XCX is worshipping at the altar of Addison Rae. The singer attended the InStyle Imagemaker Awards 2026 on October 15 to honor her stylist Chris Horan—and during her speech, she gave her friend an unexpected shout out.

“As our prophet Addison Rae would say, the world is your oyster, baby come touch the pearl,” the Brat singer said at the end of her remarks recognizing Horan. “Come get your fucking award, Chrissy!”

Also in her speech, Charli, wearing a black blazer, tie, and tights, credited Horan with helping her redefine her image after the pandemic “into something that felt more true to who I was and the work that I was making at that point time.”

In a touching tribute, she said: “I really truly believe that the female body is a sacred thing and for me personally it can also be sometimes a volatile thing and a thing that comes with a lot of insecurities. And in a world where women are constantly judged not for who they are but for what they look like, Chris’s approach is always kind, it’s always sensitive, and it’s always considerate of how I’m feeling.”

Charli and Rae are also longtime friends and collaborators. Charli made a guest appearance on Rae’s 2023 track “2 Die 4,” while Rae guest-starred on Charli’s ’“Von Dutch” remix.

“I think what was so special about what [Charli] did [with brat] was that it was so true to her, and there was just kind of no other way to categorize it,” Rae later gushed to Billboardabout her friend. “So for me, I just tried to be as intentional and free flowing as possible, which is a hard combination… I think that was something that [Charli did] so gracefully.”
