Cherif 'can't wait to get started' with Sky Blues

Sidiki Cherif has said he "can't wait to get started" after signing for Coventry City from Fenerbahce on a long-term contract.

The 19-year-old striker joined the Turkish giants in February on loan with an obligation to buy and scored three times during the second half of the 2025-26 campaign.

"I'm very happy to be a Coventry City player and I'm excited to be playing in the Premier League," Cherif said. "I'm looking forward to showing the fans what I can do and to play at the amazing stadium.

"I can't wait to get started."
