Elizabeth Holmes granted power of attorney to fiancé Billy Evans when she started her prison sentence in Texas

In the new film You Can See Everything, Evans reveals that he controls Holmes’ social accounts, her image and even an A.I. version of her he had made days before she reported to prison

He can “literally do anything,” he boasts at one point in the film

One of the more shocking revelations in the new meta-documentary You Can See Everything is shared halfway through the film by Billy Evans, the fiancé of Elizabeth Holmes.

Evans, he says, currently holds power of attorney over Holmes, the woman who once headed up a technology company valued at $10 billion.

It was ultimately Holmes’ mismanagement of that company and defrauding of investors that landed her at the Federal Prison Camp, Bryan in Texas, which is likely why she granted Evans this power as she remains behind bars.

Evans’ role is revealed when he discusses Holmes’ X account and shares that he is writing and posting 80% of the comments shared with her 98,000 followers.

He gained control of that account, he explains, by contacting an executive at the company, who granted him access to Holmes’ long dormant account.

“There’s just so much trust that most things I don’t really consult her on,” Evans says in the film. “I know what she’d want.”

He did not distinguish which posts he was writing from the ones that come directly from Holmes until last month, when on Sept. 27, a post noted that “moving forward,” all posts written by Holmes would have her initials.

But it is not just the socials that Evans is controlling, he claims.

Evans also licenses Holmes’ image to appear on billboards nationwide. He negotiated a cut of the profits with the documentary producers for Holmes’ appearance in the film, though he later declined to accept the funds. He also has control over an A.I. version of Holmes he created days before she reported to prison.

Because Evans was granted power of attorney, he claims he can, in his own words, “literally do anything.”

What he seems most intent on, however, is getting back at those he believes wronged Holmes. “I’m going to ruin their lives,” Evans declares at one point in the film.

When asked who he is referring to, he replies: “F---ing everyone. I’ve got vengeance in my heart.”

Reflecting on that conversation after leaving Evans’ house, one guest comments: “He’s bats--- crazy.”

As for how Billy obtained power of attorney, all that is required in the state of Texas is for an individual to sign over that right and have the contract notarized.

And because it does not have to be a formal legal filing in the state, there is no public record of the contract.
