Hayden Panettiere passed away on August 16 at the age of 36.
She is survived by her 11-year-old daughter Kaya.
Panettiere reportedly had plans to visit Kaya in Ukraine before her death.
Before her tragic death at the age of 36, Hayden Panettiere had plans to reunite with her daughter. A friend of the late actress’s revealed that she intended to visit her only child, 11-year-old Kaya, in Ukraine.
“I last saw her a few months ago,” Panettiere’s hairstylist of three years, Erick Orellana, told Page Six on August 17. “She was talking about how she wanted to take a vacation, and that she wanted to go and see her daughter. Her daughter was always her absolute priority. She loved her so much.”

Panettiere “loved spending time” with Kaya, according to Orellana. “Her daughter was the absolute light of her life,” he said. “She lit up when she spoke about her. Everything she did revolved around her.”
Of the Heroes star’s death, Orellana added: “I can’t imagine that this is anything but accidental because she just loved her daughter and would never have left her.”
Kaya has lived in Ukraine with her father and Panettiere’s ex-fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, since 2018.

On Monday, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Panettiere’s autopsy is complete.
“At autopsy no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death,” coroner Mike Ellis said in a statement obtained by People. “The cause and manner of death remain pending further investigation and the completion of additional studies. This investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are available for release at this time.”

Panettiere’s father Skip confirmed that she passed away at the age of 36 on August 16. “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” he wrote in a statement shared with People.
“She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her—and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” he continued.
