Jelly Roll is speaking out weeks after filing for divorce from Bunnie Xo.

The "Need a Favor" singer addressed the crowd at a recent concert days after the news of his and Bunnie Xo's divorce broke. The country star and podcaster were months away from celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary in August.

"I wasn't going to talk about this tonight, but while we're talking about liars, the internet is a liar too," Jelly Roll began in a video shared to his Instagram account Thursday night. "It's the only time, the only city I'm going to speak about this, so break your camera phones out now."

"Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth. That will be my best friend forever," he continued, reiterating that he wouldn't address it again.

"Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that. With that being shared, and cheers, everybody. Thanks for coming out tonight."

The same night that the musician shared his statement on Instagram, Bunnie Xo released a new episode of her *Dumb Blonde** *podcast, in which she opened up about where their relationship stands. "I truly feel that my husband was the catalyst for me becoming the woman that I am today," she said, becoming emotional. "And without him, I would not be where I am. And I stand on that."

"Jay and I have been together going on 10 years and he is my best friend," she continued.

"He has always been my best friend and I love that man more than life itself. You guys have seen how I ride for that mofo. Even to this day, behind the scenes your girl is still riding for that man. And I always will. And that's just what it is and that's how it is and that's how it will always be."

Elsewhere in the podcast, she said that she and Jelly Roll were still planning to have a baby together, something she mentioned in her pre-divorce memoir *Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic*.

"We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other," she said. Jelly Roll is already father to two children from previous relationships: daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9.

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo on May 18. According to the court documents obtained and reviewed by **, the date of separation was listed as May 9. News broke on June 15 of their pending divorce.

The documents list "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for divorce from Bunnie Xo, who was born Alisa Andrea Carter. Additionally, Jelly Roll stated that the "parties are unable to live together successfully as husband and wife."

They met in 2015 in Las Vegas and wed the following year in a small ceremony. Seven years later, they renewed their vows in the same chapel they got married at in Sin City.
