Kate Hudson got candid about her breakups in an interview with Howard Stern
Hudson, who is nominated for an Oscar and Actor Award for her performance in Song Sung Blue, has been engaged to fiancé Danny Fujikawa since 2021

Kate Hudson says she's never wanted to prolong a breakup.
Hudson, 46, reminisced about being broken up with during her Tuesday, Feb. 24 appearance on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, as host Howard Stern asked the Academy Award nominee if she's ever had her heart broken.
"Yes. Of course, yeah. But my thing was always, Howard, and still is, if a guy says they don't want it, they're not into it — I'm out," Hudson said. "And I'm never the kind of girl that goes like, 'I want to talk about this, what are you talking about?' I just say 'Okay.' "
"I remember one time a guy broke up with me and he said, 'I just don't think I can do this anymore,' and I said, 'Okay,' and he went 'Well, do you want to talk about it?' " she recalled. "And I was like, 'No. Not really.'"
"He kept wanting to talk to me about talking about the relationship and I was like 'No, it's done. We're over. Now you want to connect with me about us not being together? No. We're done connecting,' " she added.

Hudson's comments on her no-frills approach to breakups came after Stern, 72, asked her about her experience as the main character featured on the poster for her breakout movie Almost Famous some 25 years ago.

The actress received her first Oscar nomination for her performance as Penny Lane in that movie. She is nominated at this year's Oscars ceremony for her role in the movie Song Sung Blue.
As Stern referenced during their conversation, Hudson said during a Variety Actors on Actors interview with Kathryn Hahn that she thought, "I hope every ex-boyfriend I've ever had sees this poster, I hope every guy who's ever rejected me walks through Times Square," when she first saw the Almost Famous poster in 2000.
"Oh yeah, I actually talked about it with one guy — because it was right after we had broken up and it was very interesting," she said when asked if any exes ever noted her on the poster. "Years later, now, married, kids, [we] had a good laugh about that."
