Kristen Wiig and Rose Byrne are reuniting, 15 years after Bridesmaids hit theaters.

In a new video filmed for Vanity Fair, the actresses spoke about making the film, with Byrne, 46, noting she was "so nervous" to read with Wiig, 52, during her audition.

"I remember the first time I saw her on Saturday Night Live," Byrne recounted. "I was like, 'Oh, goodness, me, this lady's magical.' "

The two went on to recount the scene in which they sing "That's What Friends Are For," which Wiig said only required one or two takes.

"We just went off the books," Wiig remembered. "Paul [Feig, the film's director] was like, 'Just keep going.' "

Wiig added: "That, to me, was a very sort of gelling scene."

Byrne said she remembered others on set "laughing and it was so silly — it just got so competitive and ridiculous."

"It felt really special when we did it," Byrne added.

The 2011 comedy also featured Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper and a breakout performance by Melissa McCarthy that landed her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination. Wiig and co-writer Annie Mumolo also earned a Best Original Screenplay nomination.

Despite the continued love for the movie, fans shouldn't expect a sequel. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to coincide with Apple TV+ series Palm Royale, Wiig said a follow-up to the 2011 comedy has “never been a conversation.”

“That story had an end, and it’s so beloved to me for 10 million reasons, and I think it’s okay to just have it exist in the world as it is,” the Saturday Night Live alum said of Bridesmaids.
