Paul Anthony Kelly is a dad!

The Love Story actor, 37, recently welcomed his first baby with wife Syd Widziszewski-Kelly, sharing the exciting news during his appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week.

"You just became a dad!” host Kelly Clarkson said.

In response, the newly minted dad replied, “I did, yeah. Thank you so much.”

After confirming that he just welcomed a little one, the daytime talk show host, 43, asked the actor if he's tired.

"A little bit. Yeah," he quickly responded with a laugh. "That's like an understatement for sure."

The actor is currently starring as John F. Kennedy Jr. in Ryan Murphy's limited series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, in which he brings one of America's most beloved couples to life alongside actress Sarah Pidgeon.

In real life, he married Widziszewski-Kelly in May 2023. Kelly and Widziszewski-Kelly keep their relationship relatively private, though he has shared a few glimpses into their romance on social media. In May 2024, Kelly shared a carousel of photos with his wife on Instagram to commemorate their first year together.

"One year ago we tied the proverbial knot and since that day I have been the happiest and healthiest I think I’ve ever been. I love you more than words will ever do justice. To several lifetimes more... X. @sydwidziszewski," he wrote.

Later that day, he shared a carousel of playful photos with his wife on Instagram, captioned, "Love of my life @sydwidziszewski."

Then, in November 2024, the star shared a video, set to Bing Crosby's "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas," of him, his wife and their dog, enjoying some time in the snow. They shared a quick kiss before continuing their walk and ending the clip.

"Juuuuust about holiday times," he captioned the adorable video.
