Sheinelle Jones Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction on 'Today' Set

Today co-anchor Sheinelle Jones recently suffered a wardrobe malfunction on the set of Jenna & Sheinelle just moments before she went live.

On Tuesday, March 3, the official Instagram account for the NBC morning show's fourth hour posted a video of the incident.

"Close call 😂🤣 #JennaandSheinelle," the caption read.

In the accompanying video, an even-shorter-than-usual Jones stood, shoeless, next to Bush Hager before their portion of Today began. "We had a little wardrobe malfunction," the former first daughter explained as the clip played."

To that, Jones said, "You know, I love that my misfortune was going to be to everyone's excitement and glee."

Bush Hager explained, "Sheinelle lost her shoes," with Jones adding, "The 30 seconds before we were just on, it was like an episode of Twins Again, where I was, like, way down here."

"I mean, I was looking down," Bush Hager reiterated.

Luckily, though, someone from wardrobe found the shoes and came to the rescue just in time. Whew!

In the comments, viewers reacted to the comical moment, with one Instagram user writing, "😂😂 Took those stilettos off to preserve her feet and then she forgot to bring them with her."

Another shared, "S/O to the track star that ran the heels 👠 out to @sheinelle_o 🔥🔥🔥."

Someone else admitted, "I had no idea she was that tiny," of Jones' short stature.

A different Instagram follower wrote, "You guys crack me up."

Meanwhile, yet another viewer commented, "I love you two together. It’s so fun!"

On Jan. 12, Jones made her official debut as Bush Hager's permanent co-host following a year of guest co-hosts after Hoda Kotb exited Today. Kotb returned to the morning show in February to step in for Savannah Guthrie after her mother, Nancy Guthrie, went missing. The 84-year-old remains missing more than one month later.
