- *Saturday Night Live* comedian Kam Patterson continues to shoot his shot at newly single Megan Thee Stallion.

- On the *Club Shay Shay *podcast, he publicly declared, "Megan Thee Stallion, I love you."

- After the rapper split from Klay Thompson in April, Patterson joked on *SNL*, "He's not Klay, he's dirt."

After heartbreak, Megan Thee Stallion could probably use some laughter.

In April, the rapper broke up with her boyfriend, NBA star Klay Thompson, whom she accused of cheating in a tearful Instagram Story. And ever since, *Saturday Night Live* star Kam Patterson has put on a full-court press to be her rebound.

"To me, he's not Klay, he's dirt," joked the comedian during a *Weekend Update* sketch on May 2. "What Megan Thee Stallion needs is a real man."

Patterson continued his love pitch in a new interview on Shannon Sharpe's *Club Shay Shay* podcast.

"The shot had to be shot," he explained of his impassioned plea on *SNL*. "I'm still shooting."

And to prove it, Patterson looked deep into the camera and said, "Megan Thee Stallion, I love you. Understand that, I love you."

Sharpe questioned the timing of his pursuit, when she's still "grieving" the loss of her year-long relationship with Thompson.

"She'll be all right," retorted Patterson. Turning back to the camera, he told Megan, "We'll figure out. I'll get you flowers. You like flowers?

The comedian acknowledged he doesn't have "all the money" as Thompson, who signed a three-year $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks in 2024.

"But I promise you, I love you," he assured the "Savage" superstar.

It seems, however, Patterson has plenty of love to go around, especially for famous musical artists.

After Megan Thee Stallion, his celebrity crushes include "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" rapper Ice Spice and Grammy Award-winner Olivia Dean.

"That's my top three right there," he told Sharpe.

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson hold hands in New York City in July 2025.

Megan Thee Stallion has made it clear what she's looking for in a healthy relationship.

When she announced her split from Thompson, she publicly stated: "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."

As of now, Megan hasn't yet responded to Patterson's overtures.
