Tom Holland may spend his working life swinging through New York as Spider-Man, but at home with Zendaya, his hobbies are very low-key.
The actor talked about his home life with his new wife, and shared, per Fashion Times, that the two share a surprisingly domestic pastime: knitting and crocheting.
The couple first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and even though they had such a public start, they also keep their personal lives away from the world. So, the admission about what they get up to gives fan a rare look at what happens when the cameras stop rolling and they’re just themselves.
Tom Holland Reveals What He Does at Home With Zendaya
Holland discussed his hobby in April while when he visited the Bero Padel Classic in Los Angeles, where he was promoting his non-alcoholic beer.
At the event, the conversation turned to Tom Daley, the British Olympic diver who is also known for his love of knitting. Holland revealed that he and Zendaya had been getting busy with the craft themselves.
“So we have been crocheting at home,” he said, adding, “I absolutely love it.”
The confession about Holland getting handsy with the knitting needles is a big contrast for someone who is best known for playing one of the world’s most iconic superheroes.
Holland’s Peter Parker is known for his elaborate stunts, superhuman strength and swinging between skyscrapers. Away from the Marvel set, however, the actor is perfectly happy spending time with Zendaya and a ball of yarn.
The couple are also not keeping their pastime to themselves and have been spreading the joy. They have also apparently taken their shared hobby to their workplaces, with both Holland and Zendaya crocheting between filming when their schedules allow.

Their Life Together Is Far Quieter Than Their Careers
Holland’s revelation of his quiet life with Zendaya seems far more ordinary than their celebrity status might suggest.
The couple have succeeded in keeping their relationship away from the spotlight, and have maintained their private life even though both of them are some of Hollywood’s youngest royalty.
Holland has previously spoken about cooking for Zendaya, including how he has tried to make more vegetarian meals because of her diet.
“I actually love Zendaya’s spicy vodka fusilli thingamagigy,” he said on one podcast, while also being humble enough to admit that his own cooking experiments had not always gone according to how he planned it.
Zendaya herself has starred in Dune and Euphoria, while Holland’s role as Spider-Man has made him one of Marvel’s biggest stars. Yet their shared hobbies are not what you would expect of celebrities and more like something you’d discover in any quiet home.
Zendaya has not only praised Holland’s calming presence, but she has described him as not only her favorite person but her favorite person to work with. Even thoughZendaya once joked that she would leave him if he did not take a certain role.
Apparently, he listened because no one knows better than Tom Holland just how good Zendaya is with those crochet hooks.
