'Brook Lynn Deserves Better': Chase's Shirtless Encounter With Willow Leave GH Fans Fuming

The General Hospital writers have been turning up the heat in the ongoing drama between Willow, Chase, and Brook Lynn, leaving fans to sound off with their opinions over Willow's recent move to the Quartermaine gatehouse and the fact that Chase couldn't wait to help her move in.

Facebook fans were in an uproar over the fact that Chase (Josh Swickard) can't seem to stay away from Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), knowing that his constant attention to her is jeopardizing his marriage to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). To add fuel to the fire, he's always prancing around Willow with no shirt on! As The Bold and the Beautiful's Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) would say, that's "not proper."

Here is a sampling of what fans are saying:

"Why is Chase always half-naked when he runs into Willow?" one Facebook user asked.

Another user answered, "Because he wants to turn Willow on."

Other fans agreed that Chase's behavior is wrong. One fan said, "Chase, put a dang shirt on. He loves Willow gushing over him."

"Who hangs at his ex's house wearing no shirt? So stupid," another fan said.

"Chase can't tell Willow is playing him," one fan noted. "Hard to believe he's a cop."

"Chase keeps crossing the line," another fan pointed out. "He's clueless."

One user replied, "More like he pretends to be."

Some comments beg the question, is Chase really naive when it comes to Willow, or is he secretly hoping to get her attention with his manner of dress (or lack thereof)?

GH fans are getting fed up with Chase's behavior and the fact that he is always defending Willow. Is he still harboring romantic feelings for her? Whether he is or not, fans can't wait until he finally finds out (somehow) that Willow shot Drew (Cameron Mathison).

"Brook Lynn deserves so much better," one Facebook fan said.

"Chase is an oblivious fool," another fan remarked, "and I hope he loses Brook Lynn over it, just to find out Willow is a snake. That man needs a wake-up call, soon!"

"I am sick of Chase," another fan exclaimed, "and he deserves whatever comes his way for being stupid."

"Chase is walking on the train tracks and he doesn't hear the train whistle. He is going to feel so dumb when the truth comes out."

One fan made some very interesting and in-depth observations, saying, "Chase's denial runs deep because he genuinely believes he can separate his lingering feelings for Willow from his devotion to his family. But his blind spot is massive. It is going to take a near-catastrophic crisis where Willow's actions almost cost him his family for the blinders to finally shatter, forcing him to see her for who she really is and walk away for good."

That fan may be on to something, as another remarked, "I'm afraid she's going to do something to Brook Lynn so she can have Chase."

Another speculated, "Now Willow can stalk Phoebe like she did Sasha's baby!"

Does Brook Lynn's new proximity to Willow put her and baby Phoebe at risk? That remains to be seen!

While many fans are Team Brook Lynn, there are others who don't seem to have much sympathy for her.

"At this point, whatever happens between Chase and Willow is Brook Lynn's fault," one fan remarked, "since she'd rather mope around and complain than actually do something."

Another fan commented, "Where is Brook Lynn's pride? Kick Chase to the curb and get a real man. Let Willow have him."

Will Michael and Willow eventually reunite?

Some fans disagree with the way Michael (Rory Gibson) is handling the shocking discovery that Willow shot Drew. Asking her to move into the gatehouse may very well have disastrous effects on Chase and Brook Lynn's marriage and potentially on the whole Quartermaine family. Now that Michael knows what Willow is capable of, he knows that she could be a danger to all of them.

"Kinda mad at Michael for having her move back in," one Facebook fan said.

"Michael is being too easy on her," another fan agreed. "He knows what she did to Daisy. Why isn't he telling her he knows it was her?"

Stll another fan said, "I think Michael needs to show Chase those two legal documents Kai and Trina signed."

One fan replied, "Yes, but will Chase believe it?"

"Probably not," the first fan answered, "He will think Michael had them forged or that he paid Kai and Trina to make the accusation."

Perhaps Michael is a softie who has qualms about sending his ex-wife and the mother of two of his children up the river. And just maybe, like Chase, Michael is still carrying a torch for Willow.

Some fans notice white-hot chemistry between Rory Gibson's Michael and Willow, leading them to speculate that all of this conflict between the pair will eventually blow over and they will become a couple again. Even after she tried to hit him with a rolling pin, they looked at each other as though they were about to kiss.

"She's going to be back in Michael's bed," one fan remarked. "They still love each other."
